Welcome to The Design Bug!

Hello! My name is Monica and I’d like to give a warm welcome to all creative types! To all the aspiring artists, writers, bakers, travelers, photographers, creators, and so on. To anyone who lives for those elusive bursts of creativity and inspiration in whatever form they make take.

Now, if you’re anything like me, those moments of inspiration and untethered creativity are amazing, but they don’t come around as often as you’d like. Life gets busy, work doesn’t do itself, and free time doesn’t alway feel so free.

But that’s why I’m here. My goal is to serve as a constant source of inspiration, from the big projects to the little details. I aim to make your everyday life a little more enjoyable by showcasing a plethora of different designs and creative works that are bound to make you smile and hopefully come up with a few ideas of your own. My second goal is to provide a range of tips and techniques (and maybe even some DIYs) that will make your daily routine a little less mundane. In doing so, I hope to add some color to all areas of life.

To me, creative design can improve anything. Whether that’s in the form of stunning photography, nail biting stories, or some cutesy DIY projects, good design just makes everything better.
